Configuring Symmetric UDP Signaling Using Configuration Files

You use the following parameter to configure symmetric UDP signaling in the

configuration files:

sip symmetric udp signaling

Parameter –

sip symmetric udp signaling

Configuration Files aastra.cfg, <mac>.cfg

Description Allows you to enable or disable the phone to use port 5060 to send SIP

UDP messages. The value “1” (which is the default) enables the phone

to use port 5060. The value “0” (zero) disables the phone from using

port 5060 and allows the phone to choose a random port to send SIP

UDP messages.

Format Boolean

Default Value 1 (enabled)

Range 0 (disabled)

1 (enabled)
